Jyoti Risal, MD

Jyoti Risal, MD, a hospitalist for Centerpoint Medical Center specializes in internal medicine. As a member of the Centerpoint hospitalist team, Dr. Risal is specially trained in all aspects of inpatient care and works in conjunction with patients' primary care physicians to ensure a smooth continuum of care. Prior to joining Midwest Physicians, Dr. Risal most recently completed her internal medicine residency at Coney Island Hospital in Brooklyn, where she was chief resident. In that capacity she taught other residents and served on several hospital committees in addition to caring for patients. Prior to that, Dr. Risal worked as a physician assistant at the Kansas City Free Health Clinic. She is currently a member of the Committee of Interns and Residents and of the American College of Physicians.
