Darryl K Nelson, MD

Dr. Darryl Nelson is a board-certified family medicine physician with Family Health Specialists of Lee's Summit. Dr. Nelson currently serves as medical director for Midwest Physicians and as the HCA senior medical director for ambulatory electronic medical records implementation. He is a member of the American Academy of Family Physicians, the Missouri Academy of Family Physicians and the Kansas City Academy of Family Physicians. Dr. Nelson has been in practice for 20 years and is a past president of the Missouri Academy of Family Physicians. He received his medical degree from the University of Missouri-Kansas City and completed a residency at the Goppert Family Care Center in Kansas City.
